Should I get field run black dirt or screened black dirt?
If you’re doing landscaping or reseeding a lawn, we recommend using screened dirt. Screened dirt is also commonly used as final grading on construction projects. Field run dirt may have clumps of rocks or grass as it comes straight from the earth and does not get run through our screener; however, this makes it perfect for garden use or projects where you don’t need a fine, pure product.
